Source codes

Attribute the funds raised to a particular marketing channel

Updated over a week ago

Source codes are a great way to internally track fundraising campaign performance. Use source codes to attribute the funds raised to a particular marketing channel.

Source codes can be added on a per-page basis using the page builder tool. You can also set default source codes for your organization in your organization's settings. This default will automatically set the source code for each new page you create with the default you set in your settings. This, however, will not apply to any pages you've already created.

Revv writes these source codes to each payment and donor.

You can also override the source code for any donation using URL parameters. The syntax for this is:

?sc=your-source-code
โ€‹
โ€‹

How to add a source code to a page:

  1. Go to the page you want to edit in the page builder.

  2. Find the Source code field.

  3. Paste your source code in the field

  4. Click Save.
