Zapier | Setting up Integration

Using Zapier allows you to connect Revv with 1000+ apps including email systems, CRMs, and databases.

Updated today

Revv's integration is a powerful tool that allows you to connect your organization's fundraising account with Zapier to send donation data, user data, and petition signers to 1000+ apps.

Use cases for this feature are unlimited, but here are some examples:

  • Sending your donors into your MailChimp account and subscribing them to a donor list

  • Sending custom email receipts to donors using your CRM

  • Sending all donation data into AirTable, Google Sheets or Quickbooks for analysis

  • Putting petition signers into a drip sequence to try to turn them into donors

To use this, you must first set up the integration on Revv and proceed to Zapier.

Set up the Integration on Revv

Navigate to the Utilities tab and click the Integrations tab to set this up.

Then click the green Add Plus button and select Zapier from the menu.

Your Organization's Secret Key and UID will automatically populate. You will need this information to set up the Zap and connect it to your Revv account.

Toggle the integration as active and click the green save button.

Then, your Zapier Integration will display as Active on the Integration tab. You will need to go to Zapier to finish this integration setup.

Set up the Integration on Zapier

Head to Zapier and select Create a New Zap.

Search for Revv from the dropdown when choosing an App event.

Select the specific event you would like to capture from the menu.

You will be prompted to enter your Organization's Secret Key and Revv UID. These can both be found within the Integrations Settings on Revv.

Zapier will then perform a Test trigger, and then you can select where you would like to send your information from Revv.

Once the other platform and action are selected, the Zap will be active!

How to Edit the Integration

To edit or delete your integration, navigate to the Integration tab and click the active Zapier Integration.

Here, you can view any active Zaps on your account and some available Zap templates.

Note: Clicking Deactivate will make the Zaps inactive in your Zapier account. It will not delete them.

By navigating to the bottom of the page, you can delete the integration or make it inactive.

If you set the notification as inactive, it will no longer occur but will not be deleted from your account. It can be used at a later date.
