What is a petition page?

Petition pages are a great way for your organization to collect leads, ask users for input or express their opinion and support for an issue. If the user has a Revv account, they can also submit a form with one-click.

You have much of the same layout and styling options that you do with donation pages.

How do I make a page?

Creating a petition page is exactly the same as a donation page. You head to your pages index, click the green "+" button, and click on "Petition Page". Now, fill out all the relevant information as you would a donation page.

The only change is that you can choose what personal info from the signee that you want to acquire on the page.

There are infinite possibilities for petition forms with custom fields, however the following common fields are available to preset and fill in during donation redirects.

  1. First Name

  2. Last Name

  3. Email

  4. Phone Number

  5. Address

  6. Zip Code

Pre-filling Donation Forms On Redirects

You can have users sign a petition or form and then redirect them to a donation page with the previous information the user just gave. When you're on the petition page settings, follow these steps:

  1. Click confirmation

  2. Click redirect

  3. Paste a Revv donation page url into the redirect

  4. Check "Show personal info in URL" to have the user information prefilled

How do I get my leads?

There are a couple ways that you can download your leads. If you're interested in a page-by-page basis, you can click on the ellipses on the page that you'd like to access leads from here:

You can also use the "Reports" tab to export your leads on a regular basis.
