Learn how to integrate Tatango with your Revv account

Tatango is an SMS platform allowing campaigns to send text messages to Revv donors.

Revv offers direct integration with your Revv account that sends the following donor data to Tatango:

  • Phone

  • Name

  • Email

  • Zip code

You can use this data to send SMS messages to your donors.

Set Up the Integration on Revv

After logging into Revv, click on the Utilities tab and then click on the Integrations tab. Click the green Plus button to find a menu of available integrations. Here, select the Tatango Integration.

Once selected, the menu below will appear. Add the email associated with the Tatango account, the Tatango API Key, and the Default List ID (this is where all opt-ins are added as subscribers unless a list ID is added to a Standard or Merchandise Campaign and is added to the page a user opts in on).

You will need to get all this information from Tatango.

Also, decide if the bypass opt-in process or bypass opt-in response should be enabled.

Enabling the bypass opt-in process means Tantango will not send out a reply yes to subscribe text which is required by campaigns. Enabling the bypass opt-in response means Tantango will not send out a confrontation message, which is required for all campaigns.

Once that information has been added, turn the integration to Active and hit Save.

Edit or Delete the Integration

Once the integration is set up, it will be visible under the Integration tab. Click on it to edit or delete it.

By navigating to the bottom of the page, you can delete the integration or make it inactive.

If you set the integration as inactive, it will no longer occur but will not be deleted from your account. It can be used at a later date.

Tatango's Requirements

Tatango requires that every page collecting phone numbers have a disclaimer visible to the donor on the landing page. You add this disclaimer by adding the SMS Opt-In Disclaimer to your pages. You will also want to enable but not require the mobile field as well.
